The Key Power Motor car showroom is a renovation project turning an old open shelter into a 2-storey second hand car showroom. It sits besides Jalan Kebun Teh, a famous second hand car show room street located within Taman Kebun Teh, one of the historic and matured districts of Johor Bahru. It is operated by Key Power Motor Sdn Bhd, one of the prominent companies in second hand car industry.

The car showroom was designed to stand out from the crowd with a contemporary style breaking the norm of what a second hand car showroom should look like. A completely open ground floor plan and glass façade surrounding the first floor guaranteed an unobstructed view of the car units displayed in the showroom for the passerby, at the same time creating a light industrial outlook blended with a timeless design. A featured signage framing the landscape within the building breathe life into the industrial tone and establishes an energetic image.

The result is a car showroom not conforming to the traditional restrictions of the district with a distinct modern identity different from its peers.
